How it Works

  • Step 1: Schedule a Free Phone Consultation

    During the call, we will discuss your reasons for seeking treatment and match you with a therapist.

  • Step 2: Assessment

    During your first one or two sessions, we will discuss your goals for treatment, assess the various ways your anxiety, traumatic stress, depression, or relationship challenges manifest, any previous experiences with therapy, and discuss what strategies will be helpful in reducing your distress and helping you live the life you want.

    We always work collaboratively with our patients, and will design a treatment specifically to suit your individual needs.

  • Step 3: Therapy

    We usually recommend weekly therapy to address your needs. We employ a variety of evidence-based strategies to help you overcome anxiety, worry, depression, and relationship distress.

    In addition to our work together in session, we will assign practice activities between sessions. The more you are able to practice between sessions, the quicker you will reach your goals.

  • Step 4: Ending Treatment

    Once you have reached your treatment goals, we often recommend spacing out the last few sessions (e.g., every other week) to ensure you are ready to end treatment.
